HONOR CHOIR LISTS:
Note from the President:
“Hopefully you've all
had time to review the lists. The purpose of this email is to explain the
logic behind the madness!
When we began the Treble group a few years back, it was because there were so
many great junior high girls left over because there were so few boys.
Now, the girls have grown up and we have the same thing happening with the
Sr. High girls. So, this year the treble group will consist of girls in
grades 9-12 that still had great scores. There were just too many with scores
in the upper 90's even after we balanced the Mixed Choir.
As an Executive Board, we decided to do what was in the best interest of the
students. The only problem could be that this is now considered a 2nd group
to the Sr. High. If your students have this complaint, remind them that it's
better than not being in a group at all. We reserve the right to construct
the Treble Choir in any way necessary to get the best kids involved from here

I'll see you all on Thursday and please remind your all-state students to
wear their shirts to rehearsals on Thursday! Also, print your volunteer
sheets and bring them with you to the convention.
